ACG Parnell College students have achieved the school’s best A-Level results ever, despite a year filled with challenges and Covid-19 lockdowns.
In the recent Cambridge International Examinations, Year 12 and 13 students continued to excel, undeterred by the transitions between physical campus and online learning – and flourishing under the guidance and support of ACG Parnell College’s teaching team.
In consequence, the school is now celebrating a year of exceptional academic accomplishment.
AS-Level results (the initial stage of senior student study)
• 93% pass rate
• 42% of papers received A grades (80% or better)
A2-Level results (final stage of senior student study)
• 100% pass rate
• 61% of papers received A* or A grades (80% or better)
This outcome illustrates exemplary performance in every subject area. In fact, the number of A* and A grades our students received was simply outstanding with an impressive increase of 10% on last year’s AS-Level results and a remarkable 16% improvement at A-Level.
“Of particular note is that a remarkable 35% of all A-Level papers sat were graded at A*, that is, a mark of 90% or better,” says ACG Parnell College Principal, Damian Watson. “Many students received multiple A* grades, including 17 students who received at least three A* grades in 2020.”
