The ACG Parnell campus is located between the inner-city suburbs of Parnell and Newmarket, right next to Auckland’s largest park, the Domain. Our school is well equipped to support international students whose first language is not English. New students who need assistance with English begin in an Intensive English Language programme and are regularly assessed on their progress. As their English proficiency improves, they are gradually introduced to more mainstream subjects. Ongoing ELL support is provided by teacher aides who maintain close awareness of each student’s individual needs.
At ACG Parnell, we welcome international students in Years 0–10 to begin their studies in Term 3 (July) or Term 4 (October), without the need to wait for the new school year in January. This flexible option is perfect for students who complete their academic year in June in their home country.
Please note that mid-year entry is not available for Years 11–13 due to the rigorous nature of Cambridge assessments. At these levels, our expert teachers provide highly focused, structured preparation to ensure students achieve exceptional results, a process best supported by completing a full academic year.
