A guide to enrolment
Enrolling with ACG Parnell College is simple – our admissions team will guide you through the process, and make sure you are kept up-to-date throughout. The steps are outlined below.
We are still able to enrol your child during Covid19 alert levels.
Step 1: Apply
We welcome applications at any time, including for a mid-year start. However, we encourage you to apply early to ensure space is available.
The easiest way to make an application is online.
Step 2: Interview
Once we receive your application, we will invite you and your child to an interview with the school principal. This gives us an opportunity to assess your child’s needs, ensure ACG is the right fit for them, and to answer any questions you may have.
Interviews usually take 30 minutes.
You may need to bring copies of:
- Your child’s passport or birth certificate
- Their most recent school report
- Any PAT or other standardised testing results
Step 3: Offer
We assess your application and take into account your child’s needs.
Your child will need a level of fluency in English to understand the classroom instruction, and to express themselves confidently in both oral and written situations. ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) teaching and support is available for students whose first language is not English.
You will be notified of the result of your application within seven days of your interview.
Step 4: Acceptance
If your child is offered a place, you will need to confirm your acceptance in writing and pay the acceptance fee. Then it’s time to organise uniforms, school transport, and wait for their start date.
We’re always thrilled to welcome new students to ACG Parnell College.
